Made from pure merino wool, Contour is defined by its textures. A background that evokes garter stitch – the foundational knitting stitch – is broken by pronounced ridges that rise and fall organically, like hills. The soft shawl collar frames, flatters and warms and three flint-like buttons holds it close.
FIT NOTES FOR THE CONTOUR MERINO GILET
The gilet is loose fitting, but not oversized. Your regular size should be the right one.
FIND YOUR SIZE
Each of our products has its own size chart in which we try to give you all the information you need to make a choice.
Note that the numbers in these charts are the measurements of the garment, not the body.
- Read through the Sizing & Fit notes to see what the intended fit is
- Take the key width measurement on your body (chest in the case of a top, hips in the case of a bottom)
- Add the intended ease and check the size chart to find the nearest match.
- Check the length measurements of the garment against your body to make sure that they work for you.
Alternatively, compare the measurements of the garment with something similar you already own and whose fit you like.
Keep in mind that knits are inherently stretchy, and none of our styles is especially tight fitting. It is often possible to size up or down to get a roomier of closer fit.

Composition 100% merino wool
Care The best care for your knits is often less: air it out between wears, and wash only when really needed. It's better for the fibres and the earth. If you feel like your knit needs a refresh, hover a steaming iron over it. The steam will fluff up and settle the fibres, and any slight stretching from wear will be repaired.
When your merino wool knit does need cleaning, hand wash it, using lukewarm water and a gentle detergent. Do not wring or rub.
Squeeze the water out; to remove more water, squeeze between towels.
Lay flat to dry; reshape while damp.
Store flat.
Merino wool, regardless of its quality, tends to form small pills, especially in areas where there is friction. Remove using a de-pilling device or a sharp, clean razor. Take care not to nick the stitches.
